Someone Wants To Be Very Naughty...

For over fifteen years now, we have released a duo of coffees for the holidays. This year, in 2025, we're taking a bit of a different tack. This time, it's only The Naughty Coffee that will be released.

As always, The Naughty is an exploration in coffee. Gift it as a gift for your loved ones. Or better yet, buy it as a gift for yourself. And why not? You're Naughty too.

This year, The Naughty comes to use from Maria Jesus in Jinotega, Nicaragua. And Maria's coffee is a washed microlot that has light notes of pear, apple and white grapes, with good body and medium brightness. 

We recently featured this coffee at a cigars and chocolate tasting outside of Washington, D.C. with Davidoff Cigars and Vosges Chocolates - and the response to the coffee with the two was outstanding.

The beans themselves are larger in size than the typical specialty coffee and we roast it to a light medium for the best expression. We think it's best as a pour over with a 1:14.5 ratio (or 2 grams of coffee for every finished ounce) and a 3.5 to 4 minute total brew time.
