The Hampden store on 36th Street "The Avenue" is our flagship store that opened March 2010, where were welcome our guests in an informal environment to enjoy our hand-prepared coffees and house made pastries. All of our drinks are prepared to order and we offer both indoor, as well as outdoor seating under the front awning, back deck or rear garden.

Our store offers a relaxed and quiet environment for work, study or conversation. We do not offer Wi-Fi or Internet access. Electrical outlets are available and we also offer a community posting area that we ask that postings are limited to non-profit community groups and notices are limited to 4" x 6" in dimension.

While Spro is, for the most part, smoke-free, we do allow our guests to enjoy a smoke in our rear garden. We do ask cigarette smokers to please be cognizant of this liberty and to clean up smoking rubbish appropriately.

With a radically different coffee shop design, Spro Hampden embraced a more refined and classic look with shades of cream, wainscoting, mahogany cabinets, granite counters and some of the most simple yet sophisticated coffee brewing methods available.
