Produced by the incredibly passionate organic farmer Oscar Omar Alonzo this coffee is grown under shade provided by fruit trees and flower plants and is certified by the Cafe Organico de Marcala, S.A. (COMSA) from Marcala - one of the few coffee regions of the world granted a Denominacion de Origen. Marcala itself lies about sity miles northwest of the capital Tegucigalpa in the Cordillera de Montecillos region.

The “Biolatina” Lot 38 is a washed and sun dried coffee with a combination of bourbon, typica, catuai, caturra and pacas varietals, grown at 1600 meters that offers flavor notes of plums, blackberries, toasted nuts and bakers cocoa that finishes smooth and lingering on the palate.
